Commissioners consider assessments

When Manatee County commissioners meet for their regular meeting Dec. 1, they will discuss non-ad valorem assessments, their 2010 Legislative platform and alcoholic beverage-related regulations, among other topics.

The board will vote on whether to adopt resolution R-09-129, which would declare an intent to place road paving, sanitary sewer, storm water, street lighting, canal dredging and other projects on the tax bills as non-ad valorem assessments commencing in 2010.
