Commission to consider Rosedale addition

The Manatee County Board of County Commissioners are expected to vote on a 475-home expansion to the Rosedale community during their land-use meeting today.

The item, which includes a new preliminary site plan for about 237 acres south of the the future 44th Avenue Extension, is on the consent agenda.

Also on the consent agenda is improvements to Lakewood Ranch Park, including a permanent facility for East Manatee Bulldogs.
