11:53 a.m. — 2911 53rd Ave. E. (Walmart). Retail theft. The defendant was seen removing a necklace from a display shelf and putting it on his neck. The defendant proceeded to walk past the checkout area, where he was stopped by loss prevention. The defendant was read his rights. The defendant said, “I can’t believe I shoplifted a $4.97 necklace. This is going to ruin my life.”
