City offices closed for holiday

City of Sarasota administration offices will be closed today, Monday, Feb. 18 in observance of President’s Day.

The Regular City Commission meeting will be held Tuesday, February 19 at 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the Commission Chambers in City Hall, 1565 First Street. Among items on the agenda at the meeting, City Commissioners will hold an appeal hearing of a Walmart Supercenter proposed for Ringling Boulevard.
Weekly garbage and recycling collection will not be impacted.
