City manager candidates interact with residents

The city of Sarasota welcomed four city manager candidate finalists Friday night at the Robert L. Taylor Community Center.

Approximately 50 residents attended. They got an opportunity to talk with each candidate in a casual setting.
The Sarasota City Commission and the City Manager Citizens Panel now will interview the finalists 8 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at City Hall, 1565 First St., Sarasota.

Saturday’s commission interviews will also be televised live on Access Sarasota and on www.SarasotaGov.com.

City commissioners are scheduled to select a new city manager at their Monday, July 2 regular meeting.
