Church offers 'dodgy' youth party

Sarasota Baptist Church is putting a special twist on Valentine’s Day this year.

Sarasota Baptist’s Lakewood Ranch campus will host the “Not Your Typical Valentine’s Day Party” from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Feb. 14, at the church, 5600 Deer Drive. The party, for students in sixth through 12th grades, will include socializing and a dodgeball contest. The admission charge is simply bringing yourself and a friend dressed as a famous couple and being ready to play.
