Roddy Samuels entertained nearly 70 nearest-and-dearest for brunch Sunday, Nov. 8, at Michael’s On East. The reason for the food fest, she explained, was simply to celebrate the many friendships that she enjoys in our town. At the same time, she was able to introduce her son and his new bride. Clifford Samuels and Samkid Luangwong, known as “Em,” were married on the beach Oct. 25, at the Longboat Key Club. The couple lives with Roddy at The Sanctuary.
