Casey Key home sells for $3.65 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Aug. 25 and Aug. 29.

A home on Casey Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Albert and Annette Ayers sold their home at 540 N. Casey Key Road to Valorie Hayes, trustee, of Osprey, for $3.65 million. Built in 1942, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 4,494 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $250,000 in 1984.

SARASOTA
Harbor Acres

Bart Price, of Sarasota, sold two properties at 1310 Hillview Drive to James and Christina Price, of Atlanta, for $2,725,000. The first, built in 1963, has four bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,920 square feet of living area. The second, built in 1990, has two bedrooms, one bath and 900 square feet of living area. They previously sold for $3,342,400 in 2002.

Sandra Casciani, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1550 S. Orange Ave. to James and Julie Pipes, of Sarasota, for $620,000. Built in 1957, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,759 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $64,700 in 1979.

Paradise Shores
John Hawkins, trustee, and Catherine Hawkins sold the home at 1561 Blue Heron Drive to Carl and Amy Hurlebaus, of Sarasota, for $2 million. Built in 2003, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,118 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.5 million in 2005.

Southpointe Shores
Vincent and Anne Stenger sold their home at 1703 Little Pointe Circle to Andrei and Natalia Zapolskaia, of Sarasota, for $1.2 million. Built in 1963, it has five bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 4,583 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $184,000 in 1978.

The Tower Residences
Harold Blum, of Sarasota, sold his Unit 503 condominium at 35 Watergate Drive to Edward Pires and Emily Pires, trustees, of Sarasota, for $1,085,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,985 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.15 million in 2003.

South Highland
Morgan and Steven Harris, of Annapolis, Md., sold their home at 1810 Kenilworth St. to Sneha and Ajay Pallegar, of Sarasota, for $685,000. Built in 2012, it has five bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,206 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $639,000 in 2013.

Poinsettia Park
Courtney Snyder, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1834 Goldenrod St. to K. Paul and Lois Rumble, of Sarasota, for $560,000. Built in 1950, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,643 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000 in 2010.

Alinari
U.S. Bank, trustee, sold the Unit 407 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to James Manson and Patricia Helen, of Sarasota, for $453,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,911 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $889,000 in 2007.

Citrus Square
William and Susan Upton, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 304 condominium at 445 N. Orange Ave. to Walter Zeanah, of Sarasota, for $390,000. Built in 2009, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,160 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $299,000 in 2011.

SIESTA
Village Sands

Brian and Jacqueline Conroy, of Sarasota, sold their Unit C-1 condominium at 102 Columbus Ave. to Robert and Linda Roddie, of Glasgow, Scotland, for $1,125,000. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,075 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $825,000 in 2004.

Marina Del Sol
Herbert and Maureen Heimerl, of Victor, Idaho, sold their Unit W-51 condominium at 1308 Old Stickney Point Road to Gene and Barbara Wulf, of Sarasota, for $840,000. Built in 2002, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,512 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $975,000 in 2005.

Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club
ETC Properties LLC sold the Unit 1102 condominium at 5920 Midnight Pass Road to SJP Management LLC for $775,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,352 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $900,000 in 2007.

Siesta’s Bayside
David and Michelle Leon, of Winter Garden, sold their home at 528 Venice Lane to James Talkie and Sharon Webb, of Sarasota, for $725,000. Built in 1972, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,048 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000 in 2009.

Avenida De Cortez
R.G. Biv Investments LLC sold the Unit D condominium at 5204 Avenida De Cortez to Virgil Keith, of Severna Park, Md., Dean Albany, of Baltimore, and Keith Mills, of Linthicum Heights, Md., for $550,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,433 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $623,000 in 2007.

Island Reef
Jon Rude, trustee, of Concord, Mass., and Robin Rude, of Marble Head, Mass., sold the Unit 403-G condominium at 8773 Midnight Pass Road to Anthony Mazzullo and Marygrace Ferrando, of Fairport, N.Y., for $342,500. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,303 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $173,300 in 1993.

Peppertree Bay
William and Sharon Malone, of Goshen, Ind., sold their Unit 113 condominium at 1136 W. Peppertree Lane to Douglas and Diane Hauck, of Bradenton, for $325,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 975 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $114,900 in 1989.

Ocean Beach
Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. sold the home at 4576 Higel Ave. to Siesta Key Holdings LLC for $302,000. Built in 1964, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,605 square feet of living area.

White Sands Village
Terrence Chubb, of Concord Township, Ohio, sold his Unit 106 condominium at 5683 Midnight Pass Road to Lido Key 772 LLC for $215,000. Built in 1975, it has one bedroom, one bath and 797 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $255,000 in 2004.

PALMER RANCH

Michael and Sharon Doyle, of Sarasota, sold their home at 4021 Las Palmas Way to Robert and Woomee Yu, of Tampa, for $1.2 million. Built in 1989, it has six bedrooms, seven baths, a pool and 6,444 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $850,000 in 1999.

Silver Oak
Bank of America sold the home at 5320 Hunt Club Way to Darrel Reece, of Sarasota, for $720,000. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,062 square feet of living area.

Stonebridge
Dustin Pointer, of Sarasota, sold the home at 7455 Ridge Road to Jesse and Jennifer Salber, of Charlotte, N.C., for $408,600. Built in 1998, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,111 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $300,000 in 2003.

Marbella
Eugenia Randolph, of Osprey, sold her home at 4171 Corte La Vis to Lawrence and Judith Wergeles, of East Meadow, N.Y., for $349,500. Built in 1990, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,905 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $305,000 in 2003.

Steven Jones, of Evanston, Ill., sold his home at 6804 Avenida Marbella to Nicholas Beneke, of Sarasota, for $295,000. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,332 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $245,000 in 2000.

Stoneybrook at Palmer Ranch
Charles Boone Jr., of Sarasota, sold his home at 4264 Balmoral Way to Noel Alvarez and Beatriz Garcia, of Missouri City, Texas, for $310,000. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,388 square feet of living area.

Savannah at Turtle Rock
Bernice Cook, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 8332 Canary Palm Court to David and Anne Robinson, of Cumberland Center, Maine, for $280,000. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,650 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $180,000 in 1995.

Villagewalk
Michael and Karen Naffah, of Canfield, Ohio, sold their home at 5514 Modena Place to Valerie Woodger, trustee, of Raleigh, N.C., for $275,000. Built in 2003, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,534 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $197,500 in 2003.

Charles and Nancy Wolfe, of Watertown, Conn., sold their home at 7552 Pesaro Drive to Mary Freitas, of Sarasota, for $269,900. Built in 2003, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,534 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $195,900 in 2003.

Carol Bowman, of Venice, sold her home at 5793 Ivrea Drive to Charles and Diane Kenny, of Sarasota, for $240,000. Built in 2002, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,693 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $186,800 in 2002.

Arielle on Palmer Ranch
Douglas and Catherine Bateman, of St. Joseph, Ind., sold their Unit 801 condominium at 7022 Prosperity Circle to Trevor White and Koren O’Donnell, of New York City, for $250,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,045 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $395,000 in 2005.

Mara Villa
Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. sold the Unit 26 condominium at 7360 Mara Vista Drive to Gloria and Ronald Fields, of Sarasota, for $225,000. Built in 1993, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,106 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $440,000 in 2005.

Fairway Woods
Full Throttle Properties LLC sold the Unit 1606 condominium at 7672 Fairway Woods Drive to Louis and Therese Zona and Sarah Zona, of Rochester, N.Y., for $219,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,956 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,000 in 2004.

OSPREY

Alan and Cynthia Maurer, of Osprey, sold their home at 166 Sugar Mill Drive to John and Nancy Zalick, of Medina, Ohio, for $935,000. Built in 1998, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,679 square feet of living area.

Pine Ranch
Douglas and Linda King, of Osprey, sold their home at 201 Eaglenook Way to Elizabeth Haynes, trustee, of Osprey, for $560,000. Built in 1992, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,379 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $457,000 in 2003.

Southbay Yacht and Racquet Club
Alan and Deborah Hails, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 1477 Landview Lane to John and Joan Roettenberger, of Troy, Mich., for $410,000. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,328 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $203,000 in 1997.

Blackburn Point Woods
Leslie Alexander, trustee, of Brooklyn, N.Y., sold the home at 463 Oak Point Road to Donald and Margaret Edger, of Osprey, for $320,000. Built in 1994, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,724 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $319,000 in 2004.

NOKOMIS
Casey Key

Hendrik and Katherine Hazelhoff, of Nokomis, sold two properties at to Tony and Paula Prater, of Aledo, Texas, for $2,425,000. The first, built in 1949, it has one bedroom, one bath and 926 square feet of living area. The second, built in 1989, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,992 square feet of living area. They previously sold for $895,000 in 1999.
