Casey Key home sells for $1.75 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Dec. 6 and Dec. 13.

A home on Casey Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Caroline and Rodney Salvati, of Englewood, sold their home at 1516 Casey Key Road to Kenneth and Susan Grzybowski, of Temple Terrace, for $1.75 million. Built in 1953, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,477 square feet of living area.

SARASOTA
Beau Ciel

Ronald Thurston, of Apopka, sold his Unit 1101 condominium at 990 Blvd. of the Arts to Gregory Erwin, of Basalt, Colo., for $1.61 million. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,100 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.65 million in 2008.

James and Elizabeth Cooper, of Lanarkshire, United Kingdom, sold their Unit 901 condominium at 990 Blvd. of the Arts to Nicholas and Susan DeBellis, of Ridgefield, Conn., for $1,575,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,100 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,325,000 in 2010.

Baywinds Estates
John Alogna and C. Beth Cotner, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1675 Bay Harbor Lane to Scott and Elina Lunin, of Sarasota, for $1.35 million. Built in 2004, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,689 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1 million in 2010.

Embassy House
Paul Boylan, of Sarasota, sold his Unit 201 condominium at 770 S. Palm Ave. to Steven Bowers, of Sarasota, for $775,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,991 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $720,000 in 2008.

Desota Park
SunTrust Bank sold the home at 1913 Datura St. to Becca Properties LLC for $751,100. Built in 1930, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,510 square feet of living area.

Sarasota Bay Club
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 1024 condominium at 1299 N. Tamiami Trail to O. David and Louise Solomon, of Sarasota, for $735,000. Built in 2003, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,524 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $665,000 in 2010.

Sarasota Bay Club sold the Unit 811 condominium at 1301 N. Tamiami Trail to Beverly Clark, of Sarasota, for $525,000. Built in 2000, it has one bedroom, one-and-a-half baths and 1,170 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $508,000 in 2011.

Bayview Acres
Gary and Maria Gailie, of Sarasota, sold their home at 6720 Ave. B to Timothy and Lori Coates, of Zionsville, Ind., for $721,000. Built in 1953, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,083 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $155,500 in 1990.

The Landings
Rayza Irene, of Sarasota, sold the home at 4868 N. Peregrine Point Circle to John Huber and Linda Phillips, of Kensington, Md., for $675,000. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,927 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $715,000 in 2005.

Oyster Bay Estates
John and Regina Schroeder sold their home at 1429 N. Lake Shore Drive to Marilyn Schroeter, of Sarasota, for $500,000. Built in 1956, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,337 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $612,000 in 2004.

Forest Lakes Country Club Estates
Thomas Heatherman, of Myakka City, sold his home at 3432 Pine Valley Drive to Gueorgi and Tamara Skhirtladze, of Newfoundland, Canada, for $275,000. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,781 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $161,000 in 1999.

Pine Shores Estates
Equine Real Estate LLC sold the home at 1826 Ridgewood St. to Patrick Burke, of Sarasota, for $210,000. Built in 1956, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,597 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $450,000 in 2005.

South Gate
Fae McBride sold her home at 3054 Spencer Lane to Daniela Xara, of Sarasota, for $205,000. Built in 1966, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,902 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $49,900 in 1976.

Gulf and Bay Club

Victor and Cheryl Rey, of Lincoln, R.I., sold their Unit 611 condominium at Gulf and Bay Club, 5770 Midnight Pass Road, to Stephen and Nancy Jordan, of Fort Defiance, Va., for $645,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,337 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $460,500 in 2011.
Christopher and Laura Costello, of Duluth, Ga., sold their Unit 502 condominium at 5770 Midnight Pass Road to W. Patrick Stull and Beverly Stull, trustees, of Montgomery, Ohio, for $641,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,337 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $630,000 in 2002.

Tortuga Beach
Maureen North, of Tampa, sold her Unit 200 condominium at 8750 Midnight Pass Road to Michael and Anda LaMorgese, of Short Hills, N.J., for $575,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,365 square feet of living area.

Boca Siesta
William and Dianne Ramsey, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 101 condominium at 5911 Midnight Pass Road to Richard McKinney, of Downers Grove, Ill., for $535,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,465 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $405,000 in 2008.

Coquille
Yvon and Isabelle Parent, of Corbin, Ky., sold their Unit 209 condominium at 1167 Coquille St. to Steven Weinstein and Susan Murphy, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., for $429,900. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,455 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $472,000 in 2009.

Sunset Royale
Sherran Foster, trustee, of Delaware, Ohio, sold the Unit 200 condominium at 711 Beach Road to Elvart Dikiy and Marina Boboshko, of New York, for $425,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 927 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $39,000 in 1974.

Siesta Harbor
Fifth Third Mortgage Co. sold the Unit 409 condominium at 1325 S. Portofino Drive to Donald and Nancy Burns, of Buffalo, N.Y., for $340,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,139 square feet of living area.
