Car burglars target Greenbrook

Car burglars broke into eight vehicles in the Greenbrook community during the overnight hours of Jan. 3.

In every case, windows were broken out of the vehicle and mostly electronic items, such as iPods, a headrest with monitor, GPS, amplifier, speakers and a 15-inch pull-down monitor were stolen, a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report states.

A few wallets had been taken but were recovered nearby with just a few dollars missing.

All vehicles were processed for prints, the report states.
