Business owner busted for dealing in stolen goods

Sarasota County deputies arrested a business owner late detectives believe was a popular fence for purchasing stolen goods late Thursday, Oct. 3.

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has charged 85-year-old Richard Dombro, who owns Commodity Exchange located at 1918 Bay Road, with one count of dealing in stolen property and six various misdemeanors. 

Detectives conducted an undercover operation in September that revealed Dombro did not collect the required information from sellers and gave cash for purchases over $100.
