+ Studio Rubylake offers beach yoga
Studio Rubylake recently opened at 5219 Avenida Navarra, Siesta Key. Owner Courtney Kees offers a variety of classes, including Pilates, yoga/Pilates fusion, Zumba and classes on the beach. Kees’ goal is for students to work out in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere.

“I emphasize don’t hold a competitive edge,” said Kees. “I want people to come to class and let loose. Don’t take it too seriously, but take yourself and your body seriously.”

+ La Siesta Condominium updates office, security
La Siesta Condominium has recently made renovations, including the installation of a window to make the office more welcoming and the addition of five new security cameras.

“Times have changed; now you see more things that weren’t there in the past,” said Maria Chavez, manager at La Siesta Condominium. “The cameras are there for security and for the benefit of all.”

La Siesta Condominium sold five units each in the $300,000 range between April and November.
