+ Florida Olive Oil Co. opens on St. Armands Circle
Arnish and Sarla Patel recently opened Florida Olive Oil Co., at 384 St. Armands Circle. The store offers specialty olive oils and balsamic vinegars and could eventually expand to offer salsas and spices.
The specialty items include flavors such as chipotle olive oil and peach balsamic vinegar. Customers can sample olive oils and vinegars.

Hours for the St. Armands store are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. Call 388-2640.

Help at Home Homecare recently became fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission of Health Care (ACHC) and licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to operate in Florida. Accredited agencies undergo rigorous review and assessment by ACHC and are evaluated on an annual basis.

Help at Home Homecare is an affiliate to Doctor’s Choice Home Care Inc., a Medicare-based agency founded by Stu Christensen and Tim Beach. Joyce Berk serves as administrator for the affiliate.

+ Gold Coast Eagle to distribute Castello beer
Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, the Anheuser-Busch InBev and Corona distributor for Sarasota and Manatee counties owned by Longboat Key resident John Saputo, announced the acquisition of Birra Castello, the first Italian beer to be added to the company’s portfolio.

Gold Coast Eagle Distributing will be the first company in Florida to distribute Castello beer, which was established in 1868 by the Padavena family of beer meisters.

The company will introduce Castello beer by targeting the 53 Italian restaurants in Sarasota and Manatee counties, followed by local liquor stores and major grocery stores.
