Buchanan recognized for protecting small businesses

The Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council has recognized U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan a "Champion of the Entrepreneur" for his votes to protect small business and to promote entrepreneurship.

For the 111th Congress, the SBE Council scored members of the U.S. House of Representatives based on 22 votes, including the health care bill, the stimulus package and cap and trade legislation.

Buchanan scored a 95.
