Buchanan to host town hall meeting

East County residents will have their chance to air their concerns about jobs, the economy and health care during a town hall meeting hosted by U.S. Rep Vern Buchanan on Saturday.

The event, which starts at 11 a.m., will be held at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. Doors will open at 10 a.m.

This meeting is the eighth in a series of town hall meetings Buchanan has hosted as a way for his constituents to voice their opinions on federal issues.
