Buchanan announces jobs plan

Congressman Vern Buchanan announced Monday  a five-point plan for creating jobs in Florida.

“Priority No. 1 is getting Americans back to work,” Buchanan said. “My legislation will help create jobs and help unemployed Americans get by in these tough times.”

Buchanan is expected to introduce the “Job Creation Act of 2010” this week.

The plan includes tax relief for small business, the elimination of the capital gains tax for small businesses, making unemployment benefits tax free for 2010, using all repaid TARP funds to pay down the debt and to curb frivolous lawsuits.
