Brown buys on Siesta Key Village property

Siesta Key property owner Chris Brown continued to build his real estate holdings with a $1.35 million purchase in Siesta Key Village with business partner Mike Granthon.

The pair closed Dec. 18, on the property at 5214 Ocean Boulevard, which houses Used Book Heaven and Bonjour French Café among other businesses.

The 13,529 square foot property last sold for $465,700 in 1996, and will give Brown 45 additional parking spaces in the Village. Brown said he doesn’t have any expansion plans.

“We’ll probably clean it up, but overall it’s in decent shape,” Brown said.
