BRLL All-Stars win district crown

The Braden River Little League Intermediate All-Stars defeated Manatee West 9-5 to capture the District 26 championship June 29, at Braden River Park.

BRLL outscored its opponents 34-11 over the course of the five-day tournament.

Lakewood Ranch Little League finished as the District 26 runner-up in the 10/11 division behind district champion Buffalo Creek Blue. LRLL fell to Buffalo Creek Blue 13-8 in the championship game June 29.

The 9/10 district championship between BRLL and LRLL was postponed July 1 due to weather. The two teams will return to the field at 6:30 p.m. July 2.
