Derek Breiner, son of Ed’s Tavern owner John Breiner, is the winner of The East County Observer’s jellybean counting contest held at Lakewood Ranch’s Easter Eggstravaganza March 27.
Derek guessed 1,071. Our real total was 1,070.
Derek and his twin brother, Jason, won the jar of jellybeans. We just hope — for their parents’ sake — they don’t eat them all at once!
