A home in the Braden Woods community was burglarized sometime between June 26 and July 4.

A Manatee County Sheriff's office report states unknown person(s) forcibly entered a home in the 9100 block of 64th Avenue East by breaking out a kitchen window.

Once inside, the person(s) stole items and fled by unknown means in an unknown direction.

The reporting party — a resident in the 2100 block of 55th Avenue East — was alerted to the burglary, after the Excambia County division of the Florida Highway Patrol detained suspect(s) on a traffic stop. The detaining officer observed some of the property discovered at the stop to be odd. Additionally,  the suspect(s)' stories about the property were not believable, the report states.

At the time of the report, the female suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant by the Florida Highway Patrol. A male suspect was identified and detained, pending notification by the Manatee County Sheriff's Office on possible charges.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-634-8477.
