Braden River celebrates 100 days of school

First-grade students at Braden River Elementary School celebrated their 100^th day of school with a special celebration today.

As part of the festivities, the school hosted a 100^th Day Collection Museum in the cafeteria. Children brought 100 of their item of choice — everything from coins and marshmallows to bracelets and fortune cookies — to the cafeteria to count and then show to other students.

First-grader Madison Wandall, whose father died in a car accident at Tara Boulevard and State Road 70 just weeks before she was born, brought in 100 cupcakes as her item in celebration of her father, Mark’s, 38^th birthday, which was today as well.

Kindergarten students celebrated the day with counting projects, special hats, placements and more, as well.
