The Siesta Key Association will meet Nov. 1, for the first time after defeating a permit application for a food truck in the Village, which aligned the organization with the Siesta Key Village Association and the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce.

Catherine Luckner, president of SKA, will discuss zoning issues, and the association will hear from Sarasota County Coastal Resources Manager Laird Wreford who will outline the BP settlement and how it will benefit the county.

During the new business section of the meeting, Luckner will update members on the county’s post-disaster re-development plan, and board member Michael Shay will discuss Siesta beach access paths.
