Bowden to celebrate birthday in Sarasota

Former Florida State University Football Coach Bobby Bowden has chosen Sarasota in which to celebrate his 84th birthday, with Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center (SMPC) hosting the party.

Tickets are still available to hear the coaching legend discuss his career and faith, and listen to SMPC staff and clients discuss their life events. Bowden will highlight a special VIP meet-and-greet from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by the main event running through 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at the Municipal Auditorium.

Get tickets online or at the door the day of the event. General admission is $25 for adults and $5 for students with a valid ID. Individual VIP tickets are $300, or $500 for a couple.
