Boo Fest moves to Main Street

Boo Fest, the popular family Halloween-themed event sponsored by Lakewood Ranch Community Activities, will return this year to Lakewood Ranch Main Street after a one-year run at Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch.

The free event draws thousands who love to dress in Halloween costumes. This year's event will be held Oct. 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. and will include the Spooktacular Dark Maze. Sponsors once again will be handing out treats for children. Festive harvest scenery, face painting, shady characters in costumes and a touchy, feely coffin will be among the attractions.

A Haunted Trolley will transport people from various parking lots in the area. More details will be available at a later date.
