Bird Key home sells for $1.8 million

Isaac Zamora, Sarasota, sold his home at 105 N. Warbler Lane to Thomas Gardner and Barbara Vanderkolk Gardner, Sarasota, for $1.8 million. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 4,133 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $912,500 in 1997.

The Bird Key home sale was the largest transaction recorded during the week of Aug. 1 to Aug. 5 at the Sarasota and Manatee County courthouses. Of this week’s five sales, the Bird Key home was the only sale to top $1 million. Two sales each were recorded in Sarasota and Manatee counties on the Key.

Veinte
U.S. Bank, N.A., trustee, sold the Unit 403 condominium at Veinte, 2675 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Veinte Partners 403 for $644,400. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,896 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $445,000 in 2000.

Casa del Mar
Robert and Joan Hauser and Harry and Barbara Smith, all of Mainville, Ohio, sold their Unit 2 condominium at Casa del Mar, 4621 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Nolan and Elizabeth Taylor, of Ontario, Canada, for $370,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 828 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $630,000 in 2005.

Longboat Harbour Towers
Richard Howes, of Copemish, Mich., sold his Unit 706 condominium at Longboat Harbour Towers, 4401 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Jeffrey and Donna Naples, of Colchester, Conn., for $350,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 961 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $270,000 in 1999.

Fairway Bay
Samuel and Janet Sloan, trustees, sold the Unit 132 condominium at Fairway Bay, 1930 Harbourside Drive, to Peter Percival and Mary Young, of Des Moines, Iowa, for $333,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,192 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2005.
