Biden to make Sarasota visit

Vice President Joe Biden will stop in Sarasota for a grassroots event 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Municipal Auditorium, 801 N. Taimami Trail.

Doors open for the event at 9 a.m. Tickets can be picked up until 8 p.m. tonight; however, it is first come, first serve. Tickets can be picked up at Payne Park, 2050 Adams Lane, and Newtown Estates Park, 2800 Newtown Blvd. 

Both ticket pick-up locations are across the street from early voting sites. The event, on Halloween, comes less than a week before election day.
