Beach Bites introduces used bookstore

Beach Bites Sandwhich Shop of Siesta Key Village will now be selling used books.

Owner Cherub Madden says the idea of selling books has always been a dream. The Beach Bite team has worked hard to offer customers a selection of notable pre-owned classics.

Guests can browse through a wide range of well taken care of paperbacks in genres such as, horror, thriller and science fiction.

Beach Bite is also introducing a book loan program called “Read it Forward.” The program invites customers to borrow and take home for free.

Owner Jeff Madden hopes guests can use the books as their beach reads while enjoying Siesta Beach.

“We really just want to keep making a place where families can feel comfortable away from home,” says Jeff Madden. “To us, Siesta Key is paradise and we want to ensure our guests feel the same way.”
