Bay Island home sells for $3.75 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between May 26 and May 30.

A property with two homes in Bay Island tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Susan Gross, of Sarasota, sold two homes at 684 Freeling Drive to Seth Katz and Renee Milgrom-Katz, of Sarasota, for $3.75 million. The first home, built in 1949, has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 6,022 square feet of living area. The second home, built in 1968, has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,548 square feet of living area. They previously sold for $1,975,000 in 1997.

SARASOTA
Harbor Acres
Eclipse Partners LLC sold the home at 1337 Vista Drive to Waterside Properties LLC for $1.8 million. Built in 1952, it has five bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 3,933 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.6 million in May.

Jake Cosme, of New Bedford, Mass., sold his home at 1548 Harbor Place to Leslie and Nora Baker, of Sarasota, for $1,255,000. Built in 2002, it has four bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,884 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $660,000 in 2011.

Tessera
Earl and Betty Pollock, of Durham, N.C., sold their Unit 31 condominium at 500 S. Palm Ave. to Edward and Harriet Safran, of Wayland, Mass., for $1.35 million. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,830 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,075,000 in 2001.

Desota Park
Deborah Nethery, of University Park, sold her home at 1930 Wisteria St. to David and Delores Kinsman, of Woodinville, Wash., for $910,000. Built in 2002, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,060 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $815,000 in 2012.

The Villas at Eagles Point
Margaret Loomis, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 1709 condominium at 1709 Starling Drive to James and Barbara Walker, of Sarasota, for $450,000. Built in 1992, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,922 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $246,900 in 1992.

Forest Lake County Club Estates
Terry Brussati and John McGee sold their home at 3514 Pine Valley Drive to Eric Massey and Sarah Lancaster Massey, of Sarasota, for $379,000. Built in 1965, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,017 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $171,500 in 1991.

Ellen Firman and Arthur Feigenbaum, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3182 Espanola Drive to Jonathan and Brandy Haight, of Sarasota, for $287,500. Built in 1971, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,134 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $258,500 in 2002.

Shekina Group LLC sold the Unit 1005 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to Elizabeth Bueker, of Sarasota, for $325,000. Built in 2007, it has one bedroom, one-and-a-half baths and 1,070 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $340,000 in 2007.

Palmer Square West
Danyelle Boilard and Richard Paul, of Greenwich, Conn., sold their Unit 13 condominium at 3665 Square West to Mary Schaffer, of Sarasota, for $325,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,021 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in 2009.

Barbara Cooney, trustee, of Bradenton, sold the home at 729 Indian Beach Circle to Stuart McDougal and Nora Gunneng, of Sarasota, for $325,000. Built in 1958, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,825 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $16,100 in 1976.

Patricia and Carmine Bartucci, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3136 Bispham Road to Stephen Christoffers and Linda Classon, trustees, of Sarasota, for $318,000. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,964 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $159,800 in 2000.

Anthony and Menina Fedullo sold their home at 439 Acacia Drive to Mette Soderberg, of Scarsdale, N.Y., for $310,000. Built in 1956, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,769 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $135,000 in 1995.

Ryan Jordan and Alistar Broomall, of Huntington, Md., sold their home at 2736 Hibiscus St. to Larry and Gwen Griggs, of Ponte Vedra, for $210,000. Built in 1957, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,469 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $144,000 in 2008.

Mark Baumgarten, of Ahrensburg, Germany, sold his home at 3133 Goldenrod St. to Heather Wharram, of Sarasota, for $201,000. Built in 1959, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,850 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $152,000 in 2012.
