Banyan Club home tops week's sales at $1.6 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between June 4 and June 8.

A home in Banyan Club tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Charles McGovern and Kristina McGovern, trustees, of Sarasota sold the home at 140 Sand Dollar Lane to Robert and Barbara Risbridger, of Madison, Conn., for $1.6 million. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 2,480 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.5 million in 2008.

Siesta Isles
Benjamin Maibach III, Mark Bahr and Douglas Maibach, trustees, of Farmington Hills, Mich., sold the home at 5525 Azure Way to Curtis and Julia Graber, of Sarasota, for $1,175,000. Built in 1976, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,952 square feet of living area.

Robert and Barbara Risbridger, of New Haven, Conn., sold their home at 1038 Contento St. to Charles McGovern and Kristina McGovern, trustees, of Sarasota, for $737,000. Built in 1972, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,201 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $780,000 in 2009.

Siesta Properties Inc.
Frederick and Nancy Kahle, trustees, sold their home at 7411 Sanderling Road to Greg Winokur, of Pittsburgh, for $750,000. Built in 1953, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 2,675 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $800,000 in 2002.

Terrace East
Irwin and Arlene Horowitz, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 903 condominium at 5300 Ocean Blvd. to Tia Satterfield, trustee, of Grantsville, W.Va., for $650,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,375 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $42,400 in 1998.

Tivoli by the Sea
Wilson Girls LLC sold the Unit 601 condominium at 625 Beach Road to Giacomo Diberardino and Elizabeth Rutyna-Diberardino, trustees, of Ontario, Canada, for $550,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,144 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $263,000 in 1995.

Whispering Sands
Michael Lavery and Susan Rodgers sold their Unit 805 condominium at 19 Whispering Sands Drive to Robin Beard, of Sarasota, for $550,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,282 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $160,000 in 1995.

Steven and Karen Rosenbloom, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 104 condominium at 225 Hourglass Way to Sarah Robinson, of Bristol, United Kingdom, for $315,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,271 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $317,000 in 2003.

Casarina
Raymond and Marian Desautels, of Auburndale, Mass., sold their Unit 405 condominium at 5880 Midnight Pass Road to Allen and Cheryl Wimsatt, of Floyds Knobs, Ind., for $535,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,498 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,000 in 1991.

Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club
Richard and Maria Heben, Robert and Teresa Miley and Kevin and Roman Carver, of Centerville, Ohio, sold their Unit 705 condominium at 5920 Midnight Pass Road to Donald and Julie Ames, of Dayton, Ohio, for $500,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,352 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,500 in 1998.

Siesta Woods
Terry and Mona McCormick sold their home at 5156 Siesta Woods Drive to Mark and Acela Asciutto, of Port Charlotte, for $437,500. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,291 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $270,000 in 1999.

The Pointe on Midnight Pass
Louise Cashman sold her Unit 701 condominium at 9393 Midnight Pass Road to Denise and William Leader, of Niskayuna, N.Y., for $400,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,380 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $254,000 in 1998.

Jamaica Royale
Paul and Geri Trabel, of Allen, Ind., sold their Unit 86 condominium at 5830 Midnight Pass Road to Francois and Carole Angelelli, of Sevres, France, for $380,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 921 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $115,000 in January.

The Palm Bay Club of Sarasota
Michael Neese, trustee, and Sandra Neese, of Woodstock, Ill., sold the Unit S-7 condominium at 5970 Midnight Pass Road to Michael and Lisa Winer and Eddie Daghelian and Elizabeth Bagnoli, of Ontario, Canada, for $380,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,043 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $44,000 in 1976.

Peppertree Bay
Hendrik Ooms and Ida Tidwell, of Osprey, sold their Unit 227 condominium at 6041 E. Peppertree Way to Michael and Lois Mayer, of New Lenox, Ill., for $375,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,180 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $399,000 in 2004.

Beachway Apartments
Donald and Susan Petty, of Rehoboth, Del., sold their Unit B-2 condominium at 5600 Beach Way to Darrin and Janell Stuckwisch, of Union, Ky., for $350,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,182 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $437,500 in 2003.

Siesta Towers
Judy Walker, of Tomball, Texas, and Terrence McKee and Jay McKee Jr., of Sarasota, sold their Unit 5D condominium at 4822 Ocean Blvd. to Eugene Garro and Debra Garro, of Sarasota, for $310,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,440 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $70,000 in 2007.

La Siesta
Henry and Sara Hacker, trustee, of Allen, Ind., sold the Unit 308 condominium at 925 Beach Road to Eric Pressman and Yekaterina Oksov-Pressman, of Sarasota, for $305,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 753 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $153,000 in 1996.

Casa Blanca
John Lynch, of New York, sold his Unit 12 condominium at 6154 Midnight Pass Road to Garson and Tina Young, of Mount Airy, Md., for $275,000. Built in 1966, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 875 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $525,000 in 2005.
