American Idol filmed potential candidate Sam Woolf, 17, on Lakewood Ranch's Main Street today. Woolf, from Bradenton, covered songs by Matchbox 20, The Beatles and Ed Sheeran. He also performed some of his own songs. The performance will air in January 2014 on American Idol.
